Working with Motiva has allowed me to explore a new platform for my illustrations.
In this project well-known quotes from cultural heroes blend with the illustration, making the artwork a new story in mixed media. One of my cultural heroes has always been Charlie Chaplin, for his great ability to tell a story with no words. He inspires my own storytelling using minimum elements. My aim, with any portrait, is to provoke recognition first and then a deeper appreciation of the hidden meaning.
