In this series created for Motiva, I took perception to its limits by taking figurative properties and blurring the conceptual borders as they integrate with the typographic grid. I explore the coexisting function between shape and color, image and text and celebrate the multi faceted experience that is represented in Motiva.
It was a natural choice for me to include Ludwing Van Beethoven in my series not only because of his immense musical talent but also because of his unwavering perseverance. I greatly admire his personal story of overcoming obstacles that for most would be considered insurmountable. He thrived doing what he loved and left behind an incredible legacy for future generations to enjoy and be moved by. These virtues are a true testimony for his extraordinary personality and undisputed genius mind.
