From the creator:

Collaborating with Motiva was a natural extension of my enamel and glass silkscreen work. For the last 12 years, I have been creating portraits with quotes on plates and digital prints, so discovering the concept of Motiva felt like a natural progression in that same direction.

Motiva, which I consider to be a unique way to merge quotes and visual art using technology, algorithm and electronics, exceeded all my expectations and was fascinating for me to participate in. Most of my digital work started with banknote images, which to me are an artistic representation and expression of any national identity. Abraham Lincoln was my natural first choice given his iconic status in US history and the equally iconic nature of the $5 bill and what it represents.
